The north town line is the border of Wyoming County. The bridge crossing the Genesee River in Fillmore, NY was flooded in the year 1972.\nNew York State Route 19 passes through the town (north-south) and joins New York State Route 19A at Fillmore.\nAs of the census of 2000, there were 1,987 people, 766 households, and 542 families residing in the town.
