At the 2000 census the population was 171.\nPort Graham and Nanwalek are located near the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula and are separated by less than five miles. Although they have local roads, there is no road access into this area. All vehicles must be brought in by barge or ferry. Both villages are accessible by air or water. They lie 35 miles southwest of Homer and about 10 miles from Seldovia. The Alaska Marine Highway System provides ferry service to all of Kachemak Bay.\nPort Graham is located at 59\u00b020\u203252\u2033N 151\u00b050\u20320\u2033W\ufeff \/ \ufeff59.34778\u00b0N 151.833333\u00b0W\ufeff \/ 59.34778; -151.833333 (59.347736, -151.833420).\nAccording to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.9 square miles (15\u00a0km), all of it land.\nAs of the census of 2000, there were 171 people, 70 households, and 46 families residing in the CDP.
