The village is located on a high bluff along the southern shore of the Egegik River at the upper extent of Egegik Bay.\nAccording to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 134.0 square miles (347\u00a0km), of which, 32.8 square miles (85\u00a0km) of it is land and 101.2 square miles (262\u00a0km) of it (75.54%) is water.\nAs of the census of 2000, there were 116 people, 44 households, and 23 families residing in the city. The population density was 3.5 people per square mile (1.4\/km\u00b2). There were 286 housing units at an average density of 8.7 per square\u00a0mile (3.4\/km\u00b2).
