U.S. Route 206 also passes through in the western section and is partially a limited access road (the \"Netcong Bypass\") which connects to I-80 in neighboring Mount Olive.\nAs of the census of 2000, there were 3,584 people, 1,384 households, and 978 families residing in the borough.
