Students are bussed in from various areas of the Smoky River region.\nEvery second year the Smoky River Agricultural Fair is held in Donnelly in mid August, and the Annual Father's Day Demolition Derby is held each year in June. The derby attracts quite a crowd, and is located on the west side of the village.
