The population was 460 at the 2010 census.\nThe unincorporated communities of Alborn and Prosit are located within Alborn Township.\nThe community of Alborn is located 29 miles (47\u00a0km) northwest of the city of Duluth at the junction of County Highway 7 and County Highway 47.\nAccording to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.2 square miles (91\u00a0km), of which 34.5 square miles (89\u00a0km) is land and 0.7 square miles (1.8\u00a0km), or 1.96%, is water.\nThe Artichoke River flows through the township.\nAs of the census of 2000, there were 399 people, 153 households, and 115 families residing in the township. The population density was 11.6 people per square mile (4.5\/km\u00b2). There were 260 housing units at an average density of 7.5\/sq\u00a0mi (2.9\/km\u00b2).
