The railroad company established a train station on the land, and named it after him.\nAs of the census of 2000, there were 63 people, 28 households, and 15 families residing in the town. The population density was 85.6 people per square mile (32.9\/km\u00b2). There were 37 housing units at an average density of 50.2 per square mile (19.3\/km\u00b2).
