It is situated upon the Perquimans River, where the only Swing \"S\" Bridge still left in the world, exists. The town is also famous for its very old houses, one of which dates back to 1890. Winfall is slowly growing, but double taxes have forced some residents to flee, the same for other residents in its twin town of Hertford (the double taxes, only count for the county and city, but they are still low).
