    The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next few years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.<\/p>\n
