We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

    The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. Thousands skateparks that were built in the next few years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.<\/p>\n
