    Who We Teach in Burlington <\/h2>\n

    We offer lessons for all levels and for ages 4 and up. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

    About Skateboarding<\/h2>\n

    Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970’s, the first skateboard park was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.<\/p>\n
