We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

    About Skateboarding<\/h2>\n

    The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.<\/p>\n
