    Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. The World’s first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.<\/p>\n
