    We have students of all ages and levels. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. Skateboarding isn’t just for kids One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.<\/p>\n

    About Skateboarding<\/h2>\n

    Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.<\/p>\n
