About Skateboarding
The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.

We are an accredited skateboard school by ASA. There are more skateboard lessons taught through our organization than any other school. Our school will get any beginner to be confident with all of the basics of transportation by the end of the lessons.
What You Will Learn
Who We Teach in Troy
All ages and levels are welcomed at our lessons. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
