Learn How to Skate in Sumter
Inside the Sumter skatepark, you can learn how to skateboard. You will start with all of the basics... Like how to push, turn, and where to put your feet. Once you have all of the basics down, we can begin to teach you some tricks and how to ride the ramps.

Go Skate of Sumter has been know as one of the leading authorities for skateboarding lessons (not only in South Carolina but throughout America). Skateboarding is a popular pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of South Carolina skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as South Carolina private parks and indoor skate parks are being built.

Lessons are offered 7 days a week in Sumter . Lesson times start at 10 am daily. (In some locations, night lessons may also be available.)
