Skateboarding 101 Course
Who We Teach in Vinton
We offer lessons for all levels and ages. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
