The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.

We offer lessons for all levels and for ages 4 and up. All levels will get something from our instruction. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren.
