We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

About
The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. The first skatepark was made in California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
