About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. Many years later, the first skate park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
