The American Skateboard Association has given our school full certification to teach. It has given us their highest level of rating. Our school has taught over 12,000 students which is more than any other school. Our school will get any beginner to be confident with all of the basics of transportation by the end of the lessons.

Who We Teach in Ridgewood
We have students of all ages and levels. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age.
About
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Many skateparks that were built in the next few years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
