The American Skateboard Association has given our school full certification to teach. In fact, it also has given us their highest level of rating -Gold Certification. About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
