As one of the few accredited skateboard schools in the country, we have a taught thousands. There are more skateboard lessons taught through our organization than any other school. Our school will get any beginner to be confident with all of the basics of transportation.
Curriculum
Who We Teach in Oak Island
All ages and levels are welcomed at our lessons. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. Skateboarding isn't just for kids One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
About
The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first skatepark was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
