About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
