Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. The World's first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
