Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Many years later, the first skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.

We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age.
