About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
