About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Many years later, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America.
