We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. About
The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. The first skate park was made in Southern California. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
