About
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. Not until the 1970's, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
