Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
