We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. Skateboarding isn't just for kids One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

About Skateboarding
The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. Not until the 1970's, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
