About
The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. The World's first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
