Many years later, the first skatepark was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
