Many years later, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Thousands skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
