About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. The World's first skateboard park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next few years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
