Learn How to Skateboard in Portland
Inside the Portland skate park, you can learn how to skate. You will start with all of the basics... Like how to push, turn, and where to put your feet. Once you have all of the basics down, we can begin to teach you some tricks and how to ride the ramps.

Go Skate of Portland has been know as one of the leading authorities for skateboarding lessons (not only in Oregon but throughout America). Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of Oregon skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as Oregon private parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

Lessons are offered 7 days a week in Portland . Lesson times start at 10 am daily. (In some locations, night lessons may also be available.)
