About Skateboarding
The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Many years later, the first skatepark was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
