About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to mimic the waves of surfing. The World's first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
