Learn How to Skateboard in Columbus
Inside the Columbus skatepark, you can learn how to skateboard. You will start with all of the basics... Like how to push, turn, and where to put your feet. Once you have all of the basics down, we can begin to teach you some tricks and how to ride the ramps.

Go Skate of Columbus has been know as one of the leading authorities for skateboarding lessons (not only in Mississippi but throughout America). Skateboarding is a popular pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of Mississippi skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as Mississippi private parks and indoor skateparks are coming into the picture.
