The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Many skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.

What You Will Learn

All ages and levels are welcomed at our lessons. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
