The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. The first skate park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.

We have students of all ages and levels. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. You can start skateboarding at any age.
