Inside the Alliance park, you can learn how to skateboard. You will start with all of the basics... Like how to push, turn, and where to put your feet. Once you have all of the basics down, we can begin to teach you some tricks and how to ride the ramps.
Go Skate Skateboarding School in Alliance is the provider of the skate lessons. They were founded by Rob Dunfey- A professional skateboarder who has personally taught thousands of beginner skateboarders. The company's 'how to skate' YouTube channel went viral and amassed over 3 million views. Today, it is one of the most popular video-learning channels on YouTube. Go Skate of Alliance has provided these quality instructions locally through their certified pros. Skateboarding is a a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of Ohio skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as Ohio privately owned parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

Lessons are offered 7 days a week in Alliance . Lesson times start at 10 am daily. (In some locations, night lessons may also be available.)
